Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Social Media Designer Position
EWL is looking for a self-directed, marketing-savvy person to join our social media team!
Position is a 3-6 hour commitment per week.
Position is currently volunteer-only
Qualifications
-
Some experience in the field of digital marketing preferred, but not required (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram)

Some experience with either Hootsuite, Airtable, and/or Canva preferred, but not required
Duties
-
Follow the organization brand guide and marketing plans, and discuss needed adaptations with marketing team to maintain brand compliant, and responsive social media presence

Design 1-2 original posts per week and schedule in Hootsuite in conjunction with the social media team

Design 1-2 original stories per week in conjunction with the social media team, and track in Airtable
-
Brainstorm opportunities to advertise EWL’s programs, and integrate them into social media posts
-
Share topical posts from pages we follow 1-2 times per week

Engage with and perform grassroots marketing in current educator conversations on social media to follow educators’ changing needs, concerns, and to record the organizations and hashtags they are boosting

Maintain Airtable holiday calendar, and update with relevant celebratory/memorial/awareness events for use in posts, advertising and newsletters

EHQ Curriculum Design Contractor Position
Education Without Limits is looking for a self-directed curriculum designer to help develop the curriculum library within our planning tool: EducatorHQ!
Duties & Expectation
- Attend one bi-weekly team meeting (1 hr)
- Attend one weekly meeting with team lead (30 min)
- Spend at least 3 hours/week writing, curating, and categorizing standards-based activities for the LessonHQ database.
Date of Contract
ASAP - September 1
Possibility to stay on past September 1
Compensation
$20 - $30/hr based on experience

Familiarity with academic standards such as:

3+ years of experience working with youth (not necessarily as a classroom teacher)

Familiarity with Google Docs and Excel
